On 10th October, the Alliance High School class of ’87 visited the Alliance High School grounds. The visit came after the Cabinet Secretary, Prof. George Magoha, announced that schools should prepare for to welcome back the following classes: Grade 4, Class 8 and Form 4s as COVID-19 cases begin to decrease nation-wide.

The purpose of the visit by the Class of ’87 was to hand over a cello for the Music Room to the school administration. Samuel Gakunga, from the Class of ’84, also donated thermal guns to the school, in order to prepare them to receive the form 4s who were to begin reporting back from October 12, 2020

In preparation for re-opening since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alliance High School has put in the necessary measures to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. These measures are in line with the directives and guidelines given by the Ministry of Health. These include 20 handwashing stations positioned all over the school grounds to promote hygiene and converting the old Smith House into an isolation centre.

As the school begins to welcome back the form 4 candidates, the AHS Old Boys Clubs urges any willing Old Boys to donate thermal guns to the School Administration as schools resume.
