Grieveans shining (Yes, I am calling out Old boys from the other houses here)
Since 2016, we have disbursed $20,000/ KShs 2,200,000 towards scholarships and $ 7000/ KShs 770,000 towards sports: Hockey, Rugby and Volleyball.
For 2022, as part of our continued fundraising, we plan a bike ride and run in the US for the fund to continue supporting our work. Old boys, our Acrossian sisters and well-wishers are welcome to join us. Details and plans to follow.
Overall Fund Updates:
The Academic Scholarship Endowment will be disbursing $1,800/ KShs 200,211 and the Sports Endowment will be disbursing $2,000/ KShs 222,422 towards the completion of the improvements made to the volleyball courts. In early 2021 we disbursed $2,000/ KShs 222,422 to begin the upgrades.
The 2021 Q3 end of quarter fund balances are as follows.
- $78,178.54 / KShs 8,646,000 in the Academic Scholarship Endowment Fund
- $40,429.06 / KShs 4,495,000 in the Sports Endowment Fund
- $118,607.60 / KShs h 13,189,000 in total in AHSEF Funds
