The class of 1985-1994 on the 19th of February 2023 had a Sunday service at the school to raise funds for the construction of the new chapel.

The entire service was conducted by the old boys including the chapel wardens, intercessory prayers, reading scriptures and the sermon was delivered by Dr. Paul Aloyo, Chapel prefect 1991. The total number of old boys who attended was 22 and several of the old boys tagged along with their spouses.

The amount of pledges received for the day was Ksh 12.7 million from 13 people. Reward of a bull will be presented by the OBC to the class that will raise the most funds in the 1985-1994 cohorts. The school will also be celebrating the 1980-1984 and 1995-1999 cohorts in due course.
