The Junior Old Boys Club (JOBC) recently celebrated a memorable milestone with its handing-over ceremony held on the 19th of October, 2024. The event occurred in an atmosphere filled with camaraderie, pride, and a renewed sense of purpose. The club marked another chapter in its longstanding tradition of service, mentorship, and excellence.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome from the outgoing club president, who took the opportunity to reflect on the achievements made during his tenure. He emphasized the collective efforts of all JOBC members, highlighting several key projects, such as scholarship programs for underprivileged students, infrastructural support to the school, bush festival, and youth mentorship initiatives. His tenure is fondly remembered for fostering a strong sense of unity within the club and further strengthening the ties with Alliance High School.

The handing-over ceremony was attended by a few OBC members, a JOBC patron, and a representative from the OBC secretariat office.

The new leadership was officially introduced. The new JOBC leader’s acceptance speech resonated deeply with the attendees as they outlined their vision for the club, focusing on expanding outreach programs, fostering sustainable development projects for the school, and creating a network of mentors for current students and recent graduates.

They expressed gratitude to their predecessor and committed to advancing the goals of JOBC with integrity and purpose.
