The Alliance Classic Run is a wholly volunteer effort by old boys of the Alliance High School that organizes and hosts a charity run once a year (on the 3rd Saturday of the month of May) to raise funds that are endowed to the ‘ACR Fund’ that is managed by the AHSEFT.
The ACR has since 2018 been raising money for the ACR Fund that are to be applied to the following:
1) Principally, towards awarding of scholarships to boys from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, and as well as for exemplary merit (in class and/or in sports) by boys admitted to the Alliance High School;
2) Funding development and maintenance of sports facilities at the Alliance High School; and
3) Funding sports activities by the students of the Alliance High School, at school level and representing the school in inter-school competitions.
The ACR targets to raise at least KShs 200 million for the ACR Fund, over the next decade towards funding the causes listed above.
As part of our awareness campaign, the organizing committee has developed a magazine showcasing the event. This magazine is now available for download below.
